Well, I went in yesterday for my apt. and I was at Zero % dilation and Zero % thinning. So they canceled the induction. I guess I'll have to be normal and just be surprised about when she'll come! :( Is it really too much to ask for a plan, especially around Christmas?! :)
But... this morning I woke up with some contractions and they were close together and getting harder but not too much to handle. (if that makes sense) so from about 7am -10am they were pretty bad and often. Then they kind of just stopped. So we'll see if she decides she is going to be a Christmas present or something!! I already told Ryan that if I'm in the hospital on Christmas that they'll have to wait and bring all the presents over to the hospital. I don't want to miss the excitement of the kids Christmas morning! I have been the one getting all excited about what they are going to get and going to get it all.
Anyway, it was a blessing that my Mom decided to come up yesterday instead of today. She was a great help this morning, then she had to leave at 2:30 to get to the airport. She's heading to Seattle today to spend Christmas with my Bro. Jay and Sis. Liz and their families. She was pretty nervous with the weather. So pray that she'll be just fine! - On the way home too!
I guess a lot of flights have not been getting into or out of Seattle due to the weather. I remember how they'd cancel school if there was 1" of snow! Now that I've lived in Utah it seems so strange. But the truth is that there are SO many steep hills there that it's scary to try and get anywhere! Not to mention Utah has a plethora of Salt to use on the roads!! :)
It was also a good thing that the contractions stopped for the fact that it hit me how much I still needed to do. Get a bag ready for me, get all the babies clothes out, finish wrapping & yes even shopping for Christmas and getting the rest of the neighbor gifts out. Ofcourse Ryan will help with a lot of this tomorrow since he has it off. Today I have tried to get a few things done, an mainly rest!! I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas eve! Crazy!!
Merry Christmas to you all!! Hope you have a fun and SAFE holiday!
My tradition has been to get a picture of my big belly right before I have the baby. And so here are all three pictures. Can guess which baby is in my tummy in each one?

I love taking pictures of my belly. It's interesting to see the differences, but I have to say you look like you're on number one in every one! Some people have it soo good! Hope this baby's coming!
