Father's Day was great this year... I guess we did good. we tried to spoil him anyway! I got the Girls pictures taken (with me in them, and really I should have just stayed out of them.. o-well :) The girls also made a place mat for him with their hand prints. I wrote all the things they said that they love about their dad on it along with a poem I wrote too so it added that personal touch! (see below)
Then when he woke up the girls led him down the hall with his eyes closed and we served him cereal on his place mat, and had his presents on the table as well. (shirt, jeans and a Tie). He said it was a great Father's Day!
The border of the Place mat Says: Mommy: "Ok, Girls... what do you love about Daddy?" Girls:"I love Daddy Hugging Me.... I love when Daddy Plays with me... He's Funny, write that down.. he's funny!......Smart & Strong" Mommy: "Is he handsome?" Girls: "No, cute!...... He's Brave and Honest... what does Honest mean?" "He tells the truth, does Daddy tell the Truth?" Girls: "Yes!" "helpless!"... You mean Helpful!?" Girls: "Yeah" "We love him!" "And Time out!" (Emily) " And he still loves us forever!"

See these hand prints so tiny and so small
You’ve seen them on the mirror, the window & surely
on the wall. Every day these hands will grow, and as
they do I pray That my hands can be just like yours,
Daddy, in this simple way:
Strong in the face of danger
Gentle in times of need
And Helpful, just like when you kindly teach me
how to read

Giving when the need is strong
Calloused from days filled with hard work

I love to hold your hands dear Daddy, for when I do
I know… That you love me, and want to see me grow.
I want to be just like you Daddy in every way I can, for your loving hands have taught me so many things it’s true! I hope I can teach my hands to help and serve others as you always do.
So when you see these hand prints left on a window and a chair, remember that someday you’ll long to hold these little hands, & you’ll miss them when they’re not there!
The Sunday before we got together with my family to commemorate my Dad. I can't believe how fast the year flew by since he passed away and thinking back to all the crazy events of last Father's day seemed so surreal! But we had a big BBQ in Bluffdale and then went to visit his grave (...only... as soon as we went to his grave the rain POURED down so everyone could only just run over to his grave and then run back to the car) Here are couple pictures....
We got to see Charity, Aubrey & Scott. Also Dustin, Sara & Baby Melody! She's just a few weeks younger than Lindsey. And We also had A few or my Sister Robin's kids there from Arizona, so that was a nice treat!

Altogether I think we have 14 kids... one was missing.
