Emily and her "pink drink" that's what she calls her favorite sippy! I love this picture, it's so artistic and very "meaningful" for Emily that is!We joke that her drink (usually some kind of milk - choc. or strawberry or regular) is like her "coffee" because she's all cranky until she has it and then she's fine! She's totally attached! So we are currently working on her issues...and breaking her of the "Pink Drink" :)

Happy Birthday to You

Well, Emily is 3!
What can I say about Em? She's such a cutie pie! And at her age.. sometimes I call her "Trouble!" But, being the middle child is never easy, although I think she get's her way the most because of it! And 'cause when she looks at you with her beautiful eyes... let's just say she knows how to get her way. :)
She is learning so much and just in the past few weeks her vocabulary and the clarity of what she says has just changed a ton! She LOVES her sisters! She does what ever Kate does (except potty on the toilet.. that one will come... someday) She's just so funny, she wants to be where ever Kate is! The other night she came out of her room after we'd already put them to bed... in fact it had been an hour already.. and she said "I don't want socks on!" Ryan: "Why?" Emily "they slippery" Ryan: are you trying to climb up the bunk bed to get on top with kate?" Emily: "Yeah, I can't do it, my socks!" Ryan "You don't need to get up there, you are supposed to be asleep!" Emily: "Oh."
And she loves having undivided attention! (what kid doesn't right?) When she has all the attention, she sure takes advantage of it... She's been known to do a little break dancin', sing and do summer-salts. She loves doing summer -salts! All the sudden she'll be walking along and just stop and do a summer-salt!
(side note: Ok.. I am laughing... she is in the other room saying: "I have a boyfriend! It's Jack Jack!! Hee hee")
Emily is just a little character! She is into everything and loves to play in the bathroom sink, she loves to color! And is starting to try and write her name but it isn't legible at this point. She can't wait until next year when she goes to pre-school just like Kate! We just lover her and wouldn't know what to do without her!
Her Birthday Party was on sat. the 28th. She really wanted a Chicken Little Party so that's what she got. No party stores carry anything with chicken little on it though, so thank goodness for the internet! We played a few games and colored and played some more! We blew up blue balloons and played "the sky is falling" they had to keep the balloons up in the air. She was so cute! She's been looking forward to her birthday party for a long time and couldn't wait to have her friends come over. I made the chicken little cake and think it turned out cute. I have always wanted to make a chicken little cake because he's so cute!
It was a fun day and I can hardly believe she's already 3!

Monday Night Dinner Theater
For Family night we decided it would be fun to recreate some of our favorite Nursery Rhymes! It was fun! And pretty Funny too!
I was laughing pretty hard on the first attempt of Mary Had a Little lamb. Ryan (Mary) just couldn't get his lambs to keep their fleece on! Then he gave up!
Take two worked better!
So sit down, relax and enjoy the show! (go to the bottom and pause my music)

JUMPING JACKS
We had a blast at Jumping Jacks the other day! Dixie and I met up with our kids and then later that night we went back with our husbands and Anita & Jordan & Danielle came too. You buy a pass for all day so it's worth it to go back a few times. I am hoping to talk with the owner and do a story time & craft there, it will get them more customers and also help me spread the word about my business! Which right now is struggling! I need parties on my calendar, it's pretty much empty now that I am trying to get back to work after having Lindsey.
So let me know if you, or anyone you know would like Free books!! If you host in March.. I will throw in an extra $20 of free books! (ok... enough of the shameless business advertising ;)

All Smiles!
Lindsey has been so much fun lately! Every day she smiles at us more and more! She's starting to try and coo also, and it's so cute! I don't recall Kate and Emily smiling this much, this early! Any time she catches your eye and she's awake she'll usually grin at you.
And I celebrated my best nights sleep so far- yesterday. She slept 6 1/2 hrs at once. Total I got 9 hrs of sleep Woo Hoo!
This is one of the MANY ADORABLE outfits that we have been given by our friends and neighbors. We have been spoiled! I can't believe how many new things this little one has been given! (much to the dismay of my laundry basket!) But, thank you everyone, we feel so loved!
So plan on seeing lots of dress up pictures in the future!
