The Crazy Month of May

Well this month has been busy, but also I've just not felt up to blogging.. strange! To start out Lindsey turned 4 months (now she's already going to be 5 months!)

For Mother's day we went to Ryan's parents and had dinner. Here's Nana with Lindsey & Ryan

Ryan gave me a 10x10 Canopy... I was really excited because I need one for my booths - but also I've wanted one for camping etc.. for a while.

This month I got to make a couple cute cakes... I love making birthday cakes! They take just a few hours instead of a few days like a wedding cake. Less stress!

Here is one I made for Bailee, Dixie's 2nd girl. And the Winnie the Pooh cake was for James' 1st birthday (my nephew's 2nd child)

The other big excitement is that the girls are in swimming lessons right now. They are having so much fun! And doing REALLY well! I wish we were signed up for more sessions this summer but they are full! They end this week and I know Kate and Emily will be very sad that they are over.

Yesterday, for Memorial day we went with Anita's family to visit my Dad's Grave, it was neat. I can't believe that it will be a year soon! We love and miss him, we all told somethings that we remembered about him. It was great to have the kids remember him too!

Other than that, Lindsey has been sick with a respiratory virus for 2 weeks, and on Sunday we took a trip to Insta-care because her Eyes were all goopy! I lest home at 6pm and didn't get back until 10:30!! There are onky a few 24hr pharmacy's open! So she has an eye infection too! Her and I have had some pretty sleepless nights the past two weeks... that's probably part of the reason I havn't felt much like blogging!

One more pic. Ryan brought the mini home and tore out more of our backyard, placed some Rocks and leveled an area for a new hot tub! It was pretty much Free because he was able to trade it in part of one of the landscape contracts. We'll be getting it this week! We are excited!
