Ok - so I've been waiting to tell some secrets. One longer than the other - but you'll probably understand why I am scatterbrained and losing things!
First of all - I am pregnant!! This time I decided to wait to tell everyone. I am 10 weeks along and doing well - but TIRED! I have been sick up until the last week or so - but still nauseous over certain foods. I have not thrown up at all (knock on wood) and with the girls I did about 6-8 times with each (which is still good compared to some people so I am lucky) So, we're hoping that the changes means it's a boy this time - but we'll find out in 10 more weeks! I am due early in January. The total bummer about it - is that we won't be going on the Cruise that was all paid for by Ryan's Parents! I'll be too far along to get on the boat! So sad, but there will be other times! I told Ryan he could go but he knows me and he knows I'd probably be so sad while he was gone. :)
I have already seen the heart beat and the baby because my Dr. said that (after my miscarriage in the end of Jan.) I could come in at 8 wks to help my mind be at ease. It was so reassuring! And fun to see the baby. I guess I am not COMPLETELY out of the clear, but I feel great about it!
So the other big news is that today I was put in as the Ward Primary President! I've been really shocked all week long because I have never served in primary other than the last 2 months as a sunbeam teacher. Crazy! But, I am really excited and know that I'll be leaning on my 3 wonderful councilors a lot. I have a strong testimony that the Lord loves all of his little children and I feel blesses (overwhelmed -but blessed) to be able to oversee their learning of the gospel. I am going to be learning a lot! I've been feeling pretty inadequate but I keep reminding myself that the Lord has faith and trust in me and so I need to also.
So, crazy schedules just got crazier and life will fly by but I know that our home and family will be blessed greatly for the service.
So, here's another little plea for sending a prayer my direction!
( or any great activity / sharing time ideas would be great!)

Wow, I get to be the first to comment - Maybe that's because my time zone is 18 hours ahead of yours! Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS you guys, I'm so happy for you. By the way, Eliza was a counsellor in Primary for a few years, so I'm sure she could offer you some tips. It certainly helps to start off by loving the kids :)
All the best,
Ryan & family in NZ
Hey Sally,
Congrats on your pregnancy! That is so exciting. I hope it all goes well for you...no more miscarriages! (from experience I know they are the pits!!!)
I think you'll be a great Primary Pres. I did it for 4-years and have some ideas that worked really well in our Primary if you want to hear them.
I love your blog...you are probably the most creative person I know!!! Good luck with everything.
Love,
Sara
Yeah Ryan and Sally!
I'm so excited for you, on both accounts! I was the Primary Pres. in our ward (until about 6 mo. ago) and I LOVED it! It is a bit overwhelming at times but you'll be great at it! Besides, what calling isn't crazy every now and then.
When I was expecting Adam my morning sickness stopped earlier than the girls and I only threw up once or twice a day (as opposed to 4 or 5 w/ the girls) so maybe you are having a boy! But three girls would be great, too. You guys are such good parents and I'm excited for you. Have fun!
Jennie
Do the pictures of your girls at the top mean you found your camera? I hope so! And congrats on the pregnancy!
Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you! You're a great mom, and you'll be a great in the Primary too. Keep us updated on the baby!!! So many people I know are pregnant, so I am very happy for you guys!
Is that Roberta from our old ward?
I was just checking out your blog and was so excited to see that you are pregnant! Congratulations! I am the primary pres in my ward right now. We'll have to chat. I can tell you of a few things we've done. You will do sooo well at that calling. Cally
First, Congrats on the pregnancy! That is so exciting. I odn't know whether to say congrats on primary, though! I was the primary president for 3 years, and I am still convinced it was the hardest calling I have ever had. I will say that there isn't a more rewarding position either. Good luck, you will be great.
what a lot of great news! Congrats on it all. It was so great to see you guys the other day. thanks for all you do for us and for being such great friends all these years
Congrats. Pretty exciting news. Life always has some interesting twists and turns.
Congrats! That is wonderful that you are expecting!!
You will be a fabulous Primary President - I think it is one of the best callings in the church!
