Wow, I can't believe it's already October 14th! Yesterday was my B-day and I had a GREAT day! It started out with Breakfast in Bed!! Then Anita took me to lunch - Red Robin - Yum! And then she bought me a cute hat at Claire's. That night Anita babysat for us and we went to a movie - The Couples Retreat... Cute/ funny/ a few uncomfortable parts, but I'm sure I'm overly sensitive. (if you are too, you'll know which parts) :) But over all it was 3 1/2 stars I guess I could say.
Afterward we went to Ruby Tuesday for stake and Ribs (buy one get one free - woo hoo! Love Coupons!!) When we walked into the house at 10pm it was dark and their were streamers in the hallway... I walked in and Anita, kate, Emily & Lindsey were hiding and jumped out to suprise me! I loved it! There was an ice cream cake on the table and they sung to me. It was super cute and it made me feel so good!!
Ok... done talking about me!
Over UEA weekend we all had a blast with Anita! First of all, I have to say I Do have the greatest Sister EVER! (Sorry Jess and Christy... these are the facts!)
Anita found me a Bike at a Pawn shop for $25 buck! I was so stoked, I love it!
After the Zoo we went to the Lion House Restaurant for Lunch - Free (included in the pass)
The food was super yummy and it was a different experience. After that we drove to the Gateway and went to the clark planetarium and saw the movie Deep Sea in 3D - with Jim Carrey as the Narrorator. it was the coolest movie in 3D. The kids LOVED that!
After that we went to Discovery Gateway for about an hour and a half. They had a Magic show... and Rondald McDonald (AKA: Nick-Donalds - according to Emily) was the magician.
Emily was the Magicians Assistant and she was so funny! She just did EXACTLY what she was asked, she was a tad nervous when she got up there. And as time went on (at least 10 min. she was standing up their) She got more and more nervous and finally at the end... she let out a frantic: "I want my Mom!" She wouldn't move until he said she could go... then she Ran over to me! She so cute... the pictures don't capture her being nervous at all... which is great! She loved it and is still telling us about it to this day!
After the Discovery Gateway Anita Dropped me off at Tai Pan Trading and Ryan picked me up and we went to the Elders Quorum Bowling night... Very fun!! (I was wiped out by then though!)
And the Kids drove down to Thanksgiving point (it took an hour and a half to get there from downtown because there was a BYU / UTAH state football game at BYU.) After driving all that way to go to the Dinosaur Museum... we realized that I still had the city passes!! So instead Anita took them to Cornbelly's Corn Maze and MORE! Holy cow they had so much fun!!
They came home at like 11:00 COVERED in Corn Dust... they still talk about this also!!

Happy Birthday, Sally. Sounds like a great day! What a great month to have a birthday...my favorite time of year. Keep smiling.
Great post Sally. You are a busy girl. Ryan, I think that is him looks like a little boy with the dust (is that what it is?) on his face. Happy Birthday girl. Sounds like a great day. Love ya.
Cassie- That is actually a little boy. That is our nephew and he is 16. So I am conveniently never in these type photos because they seem to always do these type activities when I am busy at work or have other responsibilities.
