4th of July

For the 4th we went down to my Mom's and went to the Gunnison Parade and Carnival! It was fun because it was a small town parade so they threw out a lot of candy and the carnival was all the things you see at a country carnival not like professional rides. The kids had fun and then we braved the heat some more and Anita's Family and mine and my Mom went camping right next to the Manti temple. That night they had fireworks and we sat on the manti temple lawn to watch and then the next day the camp ground had a free Breakfast! (Temple Hill Resort) it even had a pool too and lots to do. It was a pretty good camp spot but really crowded because it was the 4th!

My Mom is doing well and we are all doing really well after everything with the passing of my Dad. I think my Mom will have the most to adjust to! She has been doing good though!
I can't believe how much strength we've had. I think my Dad doesn't want us to be sad because he is in such a better place for him and so happy! It's just us who are left behind who have to heal and get through it all. We also found out that the cause of death was a heart attack. And it could have been brought on by the stress of being lost and out of gas on the side of the freeway but we fell like he went the way he was supposed to and he would have probably died anyway. Which gives us a little comfort considering how we were searching for him for 24 hrs!
I need to write out what all happened because I am sure most of you are pretty confused about the circumstances! The problem is I know it will be a long story so I am trying to prep myself for writing it all out.
